'AmberPlain originated with a vision: to introduce true Neapolitan pizzas to London. Established by the Romano household in 1985, our pizza shop began as a quaint, family-oriented venue with a lineage of passed-down recipes.
Marco Romano, our pioneer, honed her pizza crafting skills during her Italian journeys, particularly learning from seasoned pizzaiolos in Naples, where pizza was conceived. Upon her arrival back to the UK, her mission was to reproduce the splendor of genuine Italian pizza, employing classic techniques and the best ingredients.
What started as a humble 12-seat pie shop has flourished into a cherished neighborhood gem, yet our dedication to outstanding quality and genuineness remains steady. We continue to bake using traditional wood-fired ovens, prepare our dough from scratch every day, and seek out the finest produce obtainable.
Currently, 'AmberPlain is still in the hands of the Romano kin, with the lineage’s second generation now steering our zealous troupe. Although we've adopted certain contemporary updates, the essence of our enterprise is unaltered: crafting mouth-watering, bona fide pizza that unites folks.
